In general, the Study Guide for each exam consists of the Chapter Exercises at the end of each chapter, the homework assignments for the material covered, and any extra questions that I will add below (at least 1 week before an exam).

There is also a web resource for the Jackson textbook:

Exam 4 (2009):

Exam 3 (2009):

Multiple Choice Portion of Exam 2:  The multiple choice questions are available on WebCT beginning at 10:30 on Tuesday, Oct 27.  There are __ questions worth __ points each (__ points total).  You will only have one chance to do the WebCT part of the exam.  You only have 60 minutes once you begin.  The Exam on WebCT will no longer be available after 9:30 am on Thursday, Oct 29.  This part of the Exam is OPEN BOOK, and OPEN NOTES.  However, you are expected to abide by the RU Honor Code:  please do not offer help to or receive help from another person.

Curve on Exam 2:  Re-write the Results Section (Problem # 31) and turn that in to Dr. Jackson on or before 11/21/08.  You may earn up to 18 points minus what you received on the first version.  For example, if you earned 8 points for Problem 31 on the Exam and you turn in an excellent results section receiving 17.5 points, you would receive an additional (17.5 - 8) = 9.5 points as the "curve" for Exam 2.  These points will be added on to the Exam 2 grade.
